These two pieces were my first entries in an art fair— an international art fair during Miami Art Week! I didn’t know what to expect from the fair or from Miami. My husband and I drove them from Corpus Christi, Texas!
These pieces were all about my life at that moment; diving in headfirst to go after my goals, cruising down new paths, staying coastal, feeling like I was in a surreal dream— am I above or below the waves, or maybe both? Either way, hard to reach; casting my shell phone to the bottom of the sea while I swam in paint and worked through my own growth as an artist and person..
